The Boys is staffing up! The fourth season of the NSFW superhero show is in the works for Amazon Prime Video, and The A.V. Club has news about the newest cast additions. Probably the biggest news is that Rosemarie DeWitt, who played the title role in the really good 2008 movie Rachel Getting Married, is coming on board as Hughie Campbell’s mom, the one who instilled in Hughie his eternal love for Billy Joel. What’s more, Simon Pegg is returning as Hughie’s dad, so expect some family drama in between Homelander slaughtering more innocents.

Elliot Knight and Rob Benedict are also joining the show in unspecified roles. Knight plays Don Hall in Titans, so he has some superhero experience. Benedict, meanwhile, played God on Supernatural, which was created by The Boys showrunner Erik Kripke.

It sometimes feels like The Boys has basically become an excuse for Supernatural veterans to get together. Last season there was a major storyline about the superhero Soldier Boy, played by Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles. And in season 4, Supernatural vet Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be in the mix.

There’s a family reunion coming in The Boys season 4

Susan Heyward (Orange Is The New Black) and Valorie Curry (The Tick) are also joining the cast as supes named Sister Sage and Firecracker respectively. At four seasons, The Boys is becoming part of TV’s old guard, but it clearly still has a lot of ambition.

There’s no word on when exactly The Boys season 4 will come out, but we’d expect it sometime next year.
