After 11 seasons on the air, AMC’s zombie series The Walking Dead aired its series finale, “Rest in Peace,” on November 20 of 2022.

It still feels surreal to type that. The Walking Dead was on the air for over a decade and I think a part of me thought it would go on forever. And given how many spinoffs are being planned, maybe it will. But the main series is done for good.

If you have AMC through your cable package, you may have already watched the final season. You can also stream the episodes on the streaming service AMC+. But if you want another way to watch them, you’re in luck: The Walking Dead season 11 is coming to Netflix very soon.

When can you watch the final season of The Walking Dead on Netflix?

According to Netflix’s landing page for The Walking Dead season 11, the final season is coming on January 6. That’s less than two months after the series finale aired, which is sooner than many expected.

Given Netflix’s huge subscriber base, that means a lot more people are soon going to be able to watch these final 24 episodes! That should tide them over until all the spinoffs start hitting. They include Dead City, about Maggie and Negan; a show about Daryl Dixon in France, and a series about Rick Grimes and Michonne.
