Noah Schapp say Stranger Things will “end with Will”
By Ariba Bhuvad
Stranger Things has one more season to go, and we expect it to be an emotional rollercoaster. At least we have plenty of time to prepare ourselves, since we probably won’t get to watch the final season before 2024.
Ever since Stranger Things premiered on Netflix in 2016, it’s managed to surpass expectations season after season. At the heart of the series is Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp. Will’s disappearance in Season 1 set the stage for the entire series. And according to Schnapp, Will may pull down the curtain on the show, as well.
“I can just tell you that I’m very very excited for what’s to come,” Schnapp told Forbes. “I think they did a great job with Will’s character this season, and beautifully addressed everything they needed to. The way they closed the show is just perfect — the story started with Will, and it’ll end with Will.”
Will’s story will come full circle on Stranger Things
Throughout the first four seasons of Stranger Things, Will Byers seems to have faded into the background a bit, what with so many new characters coming into the fold and then being spread out all over the map. So it’s good to hear that his story will be front and center in the final season.
This makes total and complete sense given that Will shares such a strong connection with the Upside Down. The season 4 finale of Stranger Things definitely alluded to some unexplored territory there. The battle against Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) is far from over, and Will’s history with the Upside Down may prove key.
As of now, there is no premiere date for Stranger Things season 5, but we’re probably going to be waiting for a while. In the meantime, check out Stranger Things seasons 1-4 on Netflix now!
