Watch the new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

2022 was an up-and-down year for Marvel. For the first time in a while, the new set of movies — including Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder — received mixed reviews from fans.

2023 will be another big year for Marvel (there’s really no other kind). There are a lot of huge movies on the horizon, starting with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The third Ant-Man movie will take a darker tone the first two, as well as give us a proper introduction to Kang the Conqueror, the next Thanos-level threat to the MCU.

Kang, played by Jonathan Majors, gets a lot of play in the new trailer. Watch below!

That does look more intense than what we’ve come to expect from an Ant-Man movie. But it’s the third one; it’s time to change things up or bow out.

We did kinda meet Kang before this…a little. At the end of the Disney+ show Loki, we were introduced to He Who Remains, a variant of Kang who created an interdimensional bureaucracy in part to make sure that other, meaner versions of himself didn’t escape from their own timelines and ruin the multiverse. Well, he’s dead now, and this new Kang looks about as mean as they come.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania comes out on February 17, 2023.
