Spider-Gwen, also known as Spider-Woman, is an alternate universe version of Gwen Stacy who becomes a superhero with powers similar to Spider-Man. She’s been having adventures in Marvel comics since 2014 and made her big screen debut in the 2018 movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, an animated movie where she was voiced by Hailee Steinfeld.

But might Spider-Gwen ever show up in the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe? We can’t know for sure, but if she does, the internet has a good idea of who should play her. Check out these stunning images of House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock (Young Rhaenyra Targaryen) as Spider-Gwen.

Since her stint as Rhaenyra, Alcock has appeared in a music video for “Easy Now” from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. She’s kept pretty quiet so far as high-profile film and TV projects go, so who knows where she’ll turn up next?

Milly Alcock would be a good pick to play Spider-Gwen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Spider-Gwen will return in animated form this June in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, again voiced by Hailee Steinfeld.

Will Spider-Gwen ever appear in the MCU proper? Spider-Man: No Way Home brought in a lot of characters from alternate universes, so I don’t think it’s far outside the realm of possibility. And should it happen, Marvel Studios knows who to call.
