Finn Wolfhard seems to be over the moon for his Stranger Things costar Noah Schnapp. Just last month, Schnapp posted a TikTok where he revealed he was gay, also writing about how he was nervous to reveal his sexual identity. His friends and family told him “we know” when he shared the news.

Finn Wolfhard was one of the many who watched the TikTok, and he couldn’t be more proud of his costar and friend. Wolfhard spoke to GQ about his reaction to Schnapp’s news, and all I can say is #BFFGoals. “When I saw it, I just had a big smile on my face,” Wolfhard said. “I was just really proud of him.”

In Stranger Things, Wolfhard plays Mike Wheeler. In the most recent season, it was teased that Will Byers, played by Schnapp, is in love with Mike. It is not a direct reveal, but the emotional scene between Schnapp and Wolfhard still has me in my feelings. It was incredibly powerful acting and we could really sense Will’s pain of having feelings for someone who doesn’t feel the same way about him.

Speaking of Stranger Things, the final season is set to begin production in May. We don’t know when it will be released on Netflix, but if I had to guess, I’d say sometime in late 2024 is likely.

There is a lot riding on the final season. The final scene of season 4 showed us how the Upside Down dimension was leaking into the real world, so the fight is far from over. I can’t wait to see how the end comes together for this beloved sci-fi series.
