Between Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal is a bonafide star. And now he’s hosting Saturday Night Live! If he needed a sign that he’s made it, this was it.
Before his breakout role in Game of Thrones, Pascal worked as an actor for years, starring in shows like Law & Order, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and much more, in addition to working on stage.
When he appeared on Game of Thrones as Oberyn Martell, Pascal was 39 years old. He’s now 47.
How old is Pedro Pascal’s character on The Last of Us?
That said, Pascal has range. At the start of the first episode of The Last of Us, his character Joel Miller is 36 years old. This is in the prologue section, before the cordyceps zombie outbreak. We then skip forward 20 years to pick up with Joel at 56, which is the age he’ll be for the rest of the show.
So Pascal plays 36 and 56, 10 years younger and then 10 years older than his actual age. The flexibility!
HBO airs new episodes of The Last of Us every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST/8:00 p.m. CST. It’s Pedro Pascal’s biggest role yet, and we expect him to keep on trucking afterwards.
