We see Corlys Velaryon take his wound

In Episode 8, we learn from Ser Vaemond Velaryon that his brother Corlys has taken a wound battling in the Stepstones. This sparks a tense standoff over who should be declared heir to Driftmark. In the original storyboards for the episode, we actually see Corlys get injured, rather than just hear about it from Vaemond.

Harrold Westerling insults Criston Cole

In Episode 9, after the death of King Viserys, his council meets to decide who should replace him on the Iron Throne. Things get tense and Criston Cole kills Master of Coin Lyman Beesbury. Scandalized, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard Harrold Westerling effectively quits the Kingsguard and leaves the room.

In a deleted scene, Harrold Westerling encounters Criston Cole later in the hallway. “The rats in Red Keep have more honor than you,” he tells him.

Daemon practices his swordfighting

In another deleted scene, Daemon Targaryen practicing his swordfighting. His dragon helmet doesn’t have the big feathery plume it had the last time we saw him wear it in the series premiere, suggesting he’s training for actual war, not a tournament. This probably happens late in the season, when war between Rhaenrya and Aegon is imminent.

Rhaenrya and Daemon mourn their daughter

Finally, in the finale, the show cut a scene where Rhaenrya and Daemon briefly mourn their daughter, who was stillborn. Rhaenyra wonders if her death was an omen from the gods.

And those are some of the deleted scene from House of the Dragon season 1! Hopefully HBO will step on it and actually let us watch them sometime.
