Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are officially starring in the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy! This is quite the exciting news because if you’ve ever seen them act together on shows like Parks and Recreation, you know it is absolutely hilarious. I am ecstatic to find out how they fit into the final season of Netflix’s chaotic superhero series.

ET Online learned about Offerman and Mullally’s casting. Their characters are described as “a mild-mannered married couple named Jean and Gene, who are college professors.” Mild-mannered!? Since when…

Mullally spoke to ET’s Will Marfuggi on the red carpet premiere of Party Down season 3, stating, “I mean, the deal’s not quite closed but let’s just pretend it is.” She revealed that they will start filming “in a couple of weeks.”

So basically it is happening. I’m not convinced these two are going to be mild-mannered. Call me crazy, but that is just not their M.O.

ET reached out to Netflix for confirmation about Offerman and Mullally’s casting but has not yet heard back. Until we hear something official, you can catch Offerman in his incredibly captivating role as Bill in the third episode of HBO’s The Last of Us. Meanwhile, the husband-wife duo are starring in the third season of Party Down, where they join the likes of Adam Scott and others.
