Marvel is serious about finding the person or persons who leaked 63 pages of dialogue from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania about a month before the movie’s premiere. This isn’t something that’s happened with Marvel before. Yes, Spider-Man: No Way Home stuff leaked, but Sony Studios was also involved there, so it wasn’t just on Marvel.

On Friday, March 10, Marvel filed a request in a California federal district court asking if a subpoena could be issued asking Reddit to release the name of the person or group that shared dialogue from the movie, according to Variety. The dialogue was shared on the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit, which is now defunct.

Will Reddit comply? Will the person responsible go into hiding? This is why you should be careful about what you share online. Let this be a lesson to you all: don’t screw around with Marvel!

Marvel wants Google and Reddit to turn over information on Ant-Man 3 leaker

Marvel is requesting that “all Identifying Information for the user u/MSSmods as well as that of “any other user(s) responsible for posting, editing, and/or maintaining the content” is provided to them. Marvel is making this request pursuant to the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DCMA).

So will Reddit turn over the information? A representative responded. “Reddit is committed to protecting our users’ privacy. We have rigorous processes in place to assess legal requests and object when appropriate,” they said.

Marvel is also trying to get Google to turn over information, since the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania dialogue was posted and shared on Google Docs.
