Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles stuns as Bruce Wayne in new video
By WiC Staff
Hollywood is always on the hunt for new people to play Batman. Robert Pattinson just played him in The Batman, which has a sequel on the way. James Gunn is looking to cast a new actor to play Bruce Wayne in a movie called The Brave and the Bold, and who knows where else he may pop up? There’s a Batman actor for every season, city and theater out there.
One person fans would love to see in the role is Jensen Ackles. And now stryder HD, who makes deepfake videos, has given us a glimpse of what that could look like. Stryder has taken scenes from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and subbed in Jensen’s face for Ben Affleck’s. Watch below:
Incidentally, Ben Affleck will return as Batman one more time in The Flash, which is due out on June 16. But after that, it sounds like he wants out of Gotham City. If Hollywood is looking for a replacement (and they always are), they could do a lot worse than Ackles.

Beyond staring in imaginary Batman movies, Jensen Ackles has made waves recently for playing Soldier Boy in The Boys, another superhero series. And of course there’s his role as Dean Winchester in Supernatural. And oh yeah, he actually voiced Batman in a couple of animated movies: Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman: The Long Halloween.
So he already has experience in exactly this area. All that’s left is for WBD to call him.
