We had ChatGPT write 10 alternate endings to Game of Thrones

“Write a different ending to Game of Thrones. Make it a happy ending.”
In this alternate ending to Game of Thrones, the final battle between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow never occurs. Instead, they come to a mutual understanding that they will rule Westeros together, with Jon as King in the North and Daenerys as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
Together, they begin a new era of peace and prosperity for the realm. Jon proves to be a just and fair ruler, while Daenerys uses her knowledge and experience to rebuild the cities and infrastructure that were destroyed during the war.
With the help of Tyrion, Sansa, and Arya, they establish a new council to govern the realm, with representatives from each region. The council works together to ensure that the needs of all the people of Westeros are met, and that justice is served fairly and impartially.
Over time, the scars of the war begin to heal, and the people of Westeros begin to thrive once again. Daenerys and Jon are able to raise a family together, and their children grow up in a world of peace and prosperity.
As they look out over the realm from the walls of the Red Keep, they know that they have achieved something truly remarkable. They have brought an end to centuries of conflict and division, and have united Westeros in a way that no one ever thought possible. And they know that, together, they can face whatever challenges the future may hold.

So in this ending, Jon and Dany are ruling the realm together with her as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and him as King in the North, but apparently they also have a family? I guess those are just their titles; it doesn’t mean Jon lives in Winterfell and Dany in King’s Landing. It’d be hard to coparent with that much distance between them.
Beyond that, this is again a pretty general ending that’s a bit too sickly sweet for my tastes. Let’s ask for pain:
“Write a different ending to Game of Thrones. Make it as bleak as possible.”
In this alternate ending to Game of Thrones, the final battle between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow occurs, but it doesn’t end well. Daenerys manages to defeat Jon and his forces, and she becomes the sole ruler of Westeros.
However, her reign is marked by cruelty and tyranny. She executes anyone who opposes her, and she uses her dragons to burn entire cities to the ground. The people of Westeros live in fear of her, and rebellion seems futile.
Eventually, Daenerys is assassinated by one of her own advisors, but this only leads to chaos and anarchy. Various factions fight for control of the realm, and Westeros descends into a long period of war and suffering.
The White Walkers, who were once thought to be defeated, return with a vengeance. Without Jon’s leadership, the armies of the living are unable to unite and the Night King succeeds in killing every living creature in Westeros, turning them into wights.
In the end, the only survivors are a small group of refugees who flee across the Narrow Sea to Essos, leaving behind a wasteland of death and destruction. The once-great kingdom of Westeros is now a desolate and haunted land, ruled by the Night King and his army of the dead, and destined to remain that way for all time.

It’s interesting that the last two endings both made reference to a “final battle between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow.” Was there ever one of those? Jon stabbed her during a hug. I also like that Daenerys is killed by “one of her advisors,” which…didn’t Jon do that in the real ending?
Anyway, this ending is indeed plenty bleak, although Tyrant Dany sounds kinda metal. A shame about Westeros being wiped clean of all life.
