It’s been a year and a half since Dune: Part One released and blew all our minds with its vivid imagining of Frank Herbert’s seminal 1965 science fiction novel Dune, and finally the wait for Part Two is almost over. The official trailer for Dune: Part Two hit last week, giving us our first look at the highly-anticipated sequel along with its release date.

Sandworms! Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan! A very bald and terrifying-looking Austin Butler as the sadistic Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen! Check it out:

What is the Dune: Part Two runtime? (How long is Dune: Part Two?)

There’s a lot to take in from the trailer. When last we saw young Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), he and his mother Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) had just escape a brutal coup which claimed the life of Paul’s father Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac). They survived by fleeing into the deserts of the planet Arrakis, where they were taken in by the Fremen people after Paul proved himself in combat. In Dune: Part Two, we’ll see Paul go from being a refugee to a war leader.

One question you may have is how long exactly will Dune: Part Two be? As of this writing, no runtime has yet been revealed for the film; it’s likely that we won’t have one set in stone until a few months out from the November release date.

However, we can at least make an educated guess. The first film clocked in at 156 minutes. That’s right around the two-and-a-half hour mark. While we can’t say for sure that Dune: Part Two will be around the same length, it seems like a relatively safe bet. At the very least, it’ll be over two hours. Anything less would be shocking considering the grand scale of these films.

Dune: Part Two releases in theaters on November 3.
