HBO is currently filming the second season of House of the Dragon, its follow-up to Game of Thrones. The show just spent time on the streets of Cáceres, where we were able to see what they were up to. But most of the shoot will take place at Leavesden Studios in England, away from our prying eyes.
However, we still have word on what may be going down. According to Redanian Intelligence, the show will soon be filming an infamous scene from George R.R. Martin’s book involving a pair of characters known to history only as Blood and Cheese.
Perhaps we’ll learn their real names on the show, which has fleshed out details from the book. In summary, Blood and Cheese are mercenaries hired to infiltrate the Red Keep; Cheese is a former ratcatcher in the castle and Blood a former soldier. Per RI, Cheese will be played by Mark Stobbart:

Now, RI tells us that the part of Blood will be played by Sam C. Wilson, who’s appeared in stuff like Hanna and Dodger.
At 6’5″, Wilson fits the physical description of Blood, who’s a big bruiser who doesn’t mind carrying out violence so long as there’s payment involved.
Okay, if you’ve made it this far, we’ll tell you what happens with Blood and Cheese, although be forewarned that it involves major SPOILERS!
Blood and Cheese are hired by the blacks — that’s Rhaenyra and her team — to murder one of the children of King Aegon I Targaryen, Rhaenyra’s half-brother. (Most likely, Daemon enlists the help of Mysaria to carry this one.) The murder happens in brutal fashion, while Aegon’s wife Helaena and mother Alicent look on. This will be a big scene when House of the Dragon season 2 airs on HBO and Max next year.
