The Walking Dead is over, but The Walking Dead universe remains. It’s even getting bigger. We have several Walking Dead spinoffs on the way, including The Walking Dead: Dead City, where Maggie and Negan team up to rescue Maggie’s son Hershel, who’s been kidnapped and taken to Manhattan.
We’re used to seeing zombies terrorize the countryside, but we haven’t seen much of them in cities, especially not a huge city like New York. This is new territory for the show, and promises to be quite exciting! It’s enough for me to overlook that the title of the show has the word “dead” in it twice without anything to separate the two instances. Am I the only one bothered by this? Probably.
