Casey Camp-Horinek as…Gran Gran (Kanna)

The grouchy grandmother of Sokka and Katara, Gran Gran only appeared in the first two episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. She is seemingly the oldest and highest ranking person in the Southern Water Tribe since the warriors left to fight the Fire Nation, and she is very protective of her grandchildren. After her initial reluctance to trust Aang, Gran Gran realizes his importance and encourages Katara and Sokka to help him on his journey to save the world.

Gran Gran will be played by Casey Camp-Horinek, who is known for her roles in Barking Water and Dreamkeeper. She was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her work on Son of the Morning Star in 1991.
