Want to become an extra on the second season of House of the Dragon? Now’s your chance: working with Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO, CharityBuzz is holding an auction for the chance for you and a guest to head to Westeros!
Basically, whoever donates the most money will get awarded the prize. Funds will go to the Pledgeling Foundation. As of this writing, the current bid is $4,250, so the competition is steep, but who knows when you’ll be able to ride a dragon again?
Actually, we have no idea what the scene entails. If a dragon is involved, it’s more likely the extras will be eaten by them. Here’s the official word on what the experience is like:
"You and a guest will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be an “Extra” for the day and have a full on-set experience including costume, hair and makeup during filming for House of the Dragon season 2 on Monday, July 17, 2023 outside of London. Note: Experience may be subject to production schedule changes.Winner and guest will have the opportunity to be placed in the background of scene during filming. Note: no guarantees that the scene in question will be aired or the winner and guest will be shown on camera."
Film a scene near London for House of the Dragon season 2
So you and your guest will be dressed in fantasy threads, get your hair and makeup done, and then mill around as a peasant in King’s Landing, or maybe a soldier in the Riverlands, or a member of the court at Winterfell. Anything could happen!
