Kit Harington and Rose Leslie met on the set of Game of Thrones. He played the brooding Night’s Watchmen Jon Snow, she played the fierce wildling Ygritte. Their romance ended tragically, but Harington and Leslie got married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, a boy, a few years later.

And now, Leslie has just given birth a baby girl! “They’re delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family,” a source told PageSix.com.

That’s pretty much all we know at this point. In the meantime, Harington announced that he and Leslie were expecting during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon a few months back:

Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) welcome second child, a baby girl

“You know with the first baby, you’re like, walking on clouds and dancing through fields and daisies for nine months? Well the man is anyway,” Harington said. “This time the reality check comes much shorter and you get practical, like, real quick.”

"We are trying to get him ready for it and we point at Rose’s belly and we say “Mummy’s baby, mummy’s baby” and he points at his tummy and goes, “My baby, my baby.”"

Maybe a real-life baby girl will drive the reality home to the little guy.

We don’t know what Harington and Leslie are naming their new baby, nor will we unless they decide to share. So for now, we can leave it at “congratulations”!
