Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Deleted scenes and a gag reel

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 landed in theaters back in May, and proved one of the better recent movies to come out of Marvel Studios. And if you liked it, there’s more to enjoy, because the movie is available to download at digital storefronts on July 7, complete with extras! A Blu-ray release will follow on August 1.
What kinds of extras are we talking? How about some deleted scenes? A few have been making the rounds online, including at least one that clears up a minor mystery.
Let’s go in chronological order. First up, we have the High Evolutionary searching for Rocket. By far my favorite part of this scene is the actor who walks in wearing a cardboard sign on his back indicating what he’ll look like once the special effects are done:
Next up we have the High Evolutionary expositing about his evil plan and Star-Lord finding it hard to care:
Proof that the High Evolutionary survives Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
One of the lingering questions from Guardians 3 was whether the High Evolutionary survived the destruction of his ship. The ship exploded real good, but we didn’t actually see a body, which in movie language means he’s fine.
And lo, the High Evolutionary is indeed alright, imprisoned at the Guardian home base on Knowhere:
Honestly, he was a great villain, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him back in action at some point.
