The first five episodes of The Witcher season 3 are out now on Netflix, and so far as this series goes, they’re pretty solid. As usual, star Henry Cavill is part of why the show succeeds. His portrayal of professional monster hunter Geralt of Rivia has been consistently terrific, curt grunts and all.

Cavill will play Geralt for three more episodes, to be released on July 27. Starting in season 4, the role will be played by Liam Hemsworth.

Many fans are upset by this, and have vowed to forego watching subsequent seasons if Cavill isn’t in them. But who knows? Maybe Hemsworth will make a good Geralt.

See what Liam Hemsworth could look like as Geralt of Rivia on The Witcher

First things first: what would Liam Hemsworth look like as the famous witcher? To answer that, one fan turned to AI. Using Midjourney, they produced no less than 21 images of what Hemsworth could look like after he dons the white wig:

"Liam Hemsworth as Geralt variations [Created by Midjourney AI] idk guys, it might work. by u/roundttwo in netflixwitcher"

He looks plausible enough. Of course, playing Geralt is about more than just the look. Will Hemsworth bring the same sense of battle-hardened toughness and wary intelligence that Cavill does? We’ll have to wait until The Witcher season 4 comes out on Netflix to know.
