The Walking Dead is over. We’re now in the midst of a series of spinoffs set in The Walking Dead universe revolving around Walking Dead characters, starting with The Walking Dead: Dead City. How many times can I say “Walking Dead” in a paragraph? This many.
Dead City has taken Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to Manhattan, which is thick with zombies and survivors fighting over territory. We’ve met an array of new characters during this short season. With the sixth and final episode wrap up the entire story, or is this merely setup for season 2?
We’ll have to watch Episode 6, “Doma Smo,” to find out. Here’s how:

To our knowledge, AMC has not renewed The Walking Dead: Dead City, but given how much AMC wants to milk The Walking Dead franchise, and how popular Maggie and especially Negan are as characters, we’re betting they aren’t intending this spinoff to be a one-and-done affair.
The final will clear things up. And after Dead City is over, AMC is premiering the next Walking Dead spinoff — Daryl Dixon — on September 10.
