Netflix dropped the first five episodes of The Witcher season 3 last month. Now they’re ready to close things out with a final three episodes.

I sound like the show is ending. It’s not; it will continue with season 4 and beyond. But in another way it is, because this is the last time Henry Cavill will play the lead role of Geralt of Rivia. After this, he’ll be played by Liam Hemsworth.

Episode 305 left off on a cliffhanger as trouble stirred during the sorcerer’s conclave on the isle of Thanedd. If you’ve read Andrzej Sapkowski’s book Time of Contempt, you know the action is about to ratchet up. See how much below:

We see glimpses of more conflict on Thanedd. In particular, a rumble between Geralt and the sorcerer Vilgefortz should be well worth watching. We also see images of Ciri in a desert, which happens towards the end of Time of Contempt.

Enjoy Cavill’s Geralt one last time. The final three episodes of The Witcher season 3 drop on Netflix on July 27. We don’t know when Hemsworth will make his debut yet, but things are already in the works:
