Percy Jackson and the Olympians show gets release date and teaser trailer!
By Dan Selcke
Disney is adapting Rick Riordan’s beloved book series Percy Jackson & the Olympians for TV. The title? Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The lack of ampersand makes all the difference.
Anyway, Percy Jackson is about the title character finding out he’s actually the son of the Greek god Poseidon and being sent to a camp where he learns about himself and trains with other demigods. It’s very much a post-Harry Potter kind of series.
And now, Disney has released a teaser trailer for the show, as well as revealed the premiere date on Disney+! Watch below:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast list
That’s Walker Scobel as Percy Jackson, and Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as his best friends
Hermione and Ron
Annabeth and Grover. Here’s the full cast list:

- Jay Duplass as Hades
