Will Warrior return for season 4 on Max?

Warrior is the best show no one is watching…or at least that not nearly enough people are watching. A historical fiction martial martial arts drama about Chinese gang wars in San Francisco in the 1870s, Warrior has a meaty story, likable characters, terrific actors, and spectacular fight scenes. How this show isn’t a huge hit is beyond me.

But it’s not, so fans have to hope that the folks at Warner Bros. Discovery will have the good sense to renew the show for season 4, since it probably won’t happen based on staggering viewership numbers alone. If you’re already a fan of Warrior, tell your friends. If you’re not, try it out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

That said, some insiders are hopeful, including star Andrew Koji, who plays Ah Sahm.

Will Warrior season 4 happen?

A while back, Koji said that he had a “gut feeling” that “we got a very good chance” of getting a season 4. That’s good to hear, although there are qualifications. “If we did Warrior season 4, that would be next year because everyone has to become free. It might not be until the middle of next year if we did, and I’m going to be getting old,” he said. In other words, the sooner Max renews Warrior, the better.

Also, Koji said this before Hollywood actors and writers went on strike, which has throw a monkey wrench into the entertainment industry. Let’s hope they work through everything, because I need season 4 yesterday.
