Soon it’ll be time to go back to the galaxy far, far away with Ahsoka, the next Star Wars series heading to Disney+. While Lucasfilm has released plenty of Star Wars shows by this point, Ahsoka feels special. It stars Rosario Dawson as the show’s namesake Jedi outcast, along with many of the cast from the Star Wars Rebels animated series making their live-action debuts, such as Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine Wren (Natashia Liu Bordizzo) and even the droid Chopper!

With Ahsoka only a short while away, it’s time to make your premiere-day plans. Here’s everything you need to know about when Ahsoka is coming to Disney+.

What time does Ahsoka come out on Disney?

It was announced quite some time ago that Ahsoka was coming to Disney+ on August 23. However, the date changed just last week. Now, Ahsoka will premiere its first two episodes on the streaming platform on Tuesday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m. PST / 9:00 p.m. ET.

There are eight episodes total in Ahsoka’s first season. As of this writing, each is expected to premiere at that same time on Tuesday nights, leading up to the season finale on October 3. This is the first time that a Disney+ Star Wars show is going with this sort of evening release schedule. Perhaps each episode will feel like appointment viewing that we can watch and talk about the following morning!

We’ll be reviewing each episode of Ahsoka here on Winter Is Coming after it airs on Disney+.
