Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married in a low-key wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in May of 2019, the same month that HBO’s Game of Thrones — the show that catapulted Turner to fame as Sansa Stark — aired its last-ever episode. A few months after that, they had a bigger ceremony with friends and family in France. Turner’s Game of Thrones costar Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) was her maid of honor.

Since then, the couple have had two children together: daughter Willa was born in 2020. In 2022, they had another child whose name they have not shared.

And now, it’s being reported that Joe Jonas is seeking a divorce lawyer. The news was first reported by TMZ. Granted, TMZ doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to moving us forward as a culture, but they’re fairly on point when it comes to accuracy. The news has since been reported by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly. This is still a “reportedly” type of situation — we’re not sure what exactly Turner and Jonas are planning or doing — but it does look like there’s a fair amount of smoke. A fire wouldn’t surprise me.

Are Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner getting divorced?

And that’s about where the story ends for now. Whatever’s happening, I hope the couple does whatever’s best for them and their family.
