The other day, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and singer Joe Jonas officially announced that they are getting divorced after four years of marriage. Turner posted a joint statement to her Instagram account:

Turner and Jonas are young attractive famous people, so naturally reactions to their breakup have been swift and passionate. The most entertaining probably came from actor Marion Cotillard, who won an Academy Award for her performance as Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. Commenting on an Instagram post about the news from Entertainment Tonight, Cotillard wrote, and I quote:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

We hear you. You are heard.

Sophie Turner’s Game of Thrones costars make show of support

Turner turned off comments on her Instagram post, so no one’s saying anything over there. However, according to Geo News, several of her Game of Thrones castmates have liked the post in support, including Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), who served as Turner’s maid of honor when she married Jonas in 2019.

Some interesting advice came in from actor and supermodel Emily Ratajkowski, who sounded off on her TikTok. Technically, Ratajkowski doesn’t mention Turner by name, but considering that the topic is how it’s “chic” to be divorced before you turn 30 and that the video went up just as the news was breaking, it seems reasonable to conclude that Turner was on Ratajkowski’s mind.

"@emratapersonally i find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30♬ original sound – Emrata"

“There is nothing better than being in your 30s, still being hot, maybe having a little bit of your own money, figuring out what you want to do with your life [and] everything,” Ratajkowski said. “Having tried that married fantasy and realizing that it’s maybe not all it’s cracked up to be, and then you’ve got your whole life still ahead of you!”

For the record, Ratajkowski is 32 and got divorced last year. Turner is 27. “Congratulations!” Ratajkowski added.

So in conclusion, different people are reacting to the divorce of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas in different ways. These were some of them. Goodbye.
