Kit Harington is a woodsman with a secret in horror film What Remains of Us
By Dan Selcke
Kit Harington is best known for playing the role of taciturn Night’s Watchmen Jon Snow in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and it seems unlikely that will change anytime soon. If he has his way, he may even return to the role sooner or later.
But Harington has done other things since the end of Game of Thrones. For instance, he played Dane Whitman in the Marvel movie Eternals. It’s possible he’ll return in that role and play a proper superhero, although we’re not counting on it.
And now, he’s starring in the new horror film What Remain of Us. The Hollywood Reporter has the first look. Check it out:
Kit Harington is a woodsman werewolf in What Remains of Us
What Remains of Us is set in 1965. Harington’s character, his wife (Ashleigh Cummings) and their 10-year-old daughter (Caoilinn Springall) live on a rural compound in England. The daughter discovers that once a month, her daddy turns into a monster. Her parents try and tell her that it’s nothing to worry about, but when the monster escapes whatever captivity they’ve set up for it, the daughter has to make some hard decisions.
THR’s description of the movie doesn’t say that Harington’s character is a werewolf, but…it sounds like he’s a werewolf, doesn’t it? I guess we’ll find out more when the movie comes out.
As for when that might be, we have no idea. What Remains of Us, directed by documentary filmmaker Alexander J. Farrell, is currently in post-production and preparing to shop itself around to distributors. We’ll keep an eye on it.
