Who does Arnas Fedaravicius play in The Wheel of Time?

If you watched the historical drama The Last Kingdom on Netflix, you may remember Sihtric, a stoic warrior and follower of Uhtred of Bebbanburg. Sihtric was played by Lithuanian actor Arnas Fedaravicius, who is playing a similar role on Amazon’s fantasy show The Wheel of Time.

on The Wheel of Time, Fedaravicius plays Masema Dagar, a Shienarian soldier who is currently traveling with Perrin Aybara and other Shienarian soldiers on the hunt for the Horn of Valere, which was stolen from the city of Fal Dara by Padan Fain.

Or at least he was. Last we saw Masema Dagar in Episode 3, he, Perrin, and the rest of the Shienarian had been captured by the Seanchan. Perrin managed to escape, but we assume that Masema is still in their custody.

Who does Arnas Fedaravicius from The Last Kingdom play in The Wheel of Time?

In The Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan, Masema follows a different path. We meet him a bit earlier than we do on the show, and he becomes an adherent of Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn.

In the books, Masema does eventually travel with Perrin, and we won’t say any more for fear of potentially spoiling things. It remains unclear if the TV show will keep Masema around in his original role or do something else with him.
