Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a new play set to premiere in London, England in November. If you haven’t heard anything about it, then let us be the first to tell you, it looks amazing.

The First Shadow is a big production with elaborate props and sets that will bring the town of Hawkins, Indiana to life. However, the play takes place before the events of the Netflix series, circa 1959. We’ll catch up with the likes of Hopper, Joyce and Vecna when they were in high school.

We’ve got more details for you, but first, check out the behind-the-scenes video below and meet the cast:

Stranger Things: The First Shadow play comes to London in November

In 1959, Hawkins was an average little town with no Demogorgons to worry about. Jim Hopper is a young lad frustrated that his car won’t start and Joyce is ready to graduate and get out of town. There’s also Henry Creel’s arrival in town, which shakes things up in this sleepy burb.

Here’s the full cast:

  • Oscar Lloyd (James Hopper, Jr.)
  • Isabella Pappas (Joyce Maldonado)
  • Christopher Buckley (Bob Newby)
  • Patrick Vaill (Dr. Brenner)
  • Louis McCartney (Henry Creel)
  • Shane Attwooll (Chief Hopper)
  • Kemi Awoderu (Sue Anderson)
  • Chase Brown (Lonnie Byers)
  • Ammar Duffus (Charles Sinclair)
  • Gilles Geary (Ted Wheeler)
  • Florence Guy (Karen Childress)
  • Max Harwood (Allen Munson)
  • Michael Jibson (Victor Creel)
  • Matthew Pidgeon (Father Newby)
  • Calum Ross (Walter Henderson)
  • Maisie Norma Seaton (Claudia Henderson)
  • Lauren Ward (Virginia Creel)
  • Ella Karuna Williams (Patty Newby)

Stranger Things: The First Shadow will teach fans more about Hawkins and its history. I hope that this play will make its way to the States at some point as it sounds absolutely amazing!

There is nothing more I want than to immerse myself in the wild world of Stranger Things, especially before the fifth and final season comes to Netflix and brings the story to an end!

Next. Jamie Lee Curtis wants to play Dr. Kureha on One Piece, and so does the showrunner. dark
