Albus Dumbledore’s 5 most badass moments from the Harry Potter movies

1. Dueling Voldemort

This is a scene that I have watched countless times on YouTube and I am not ashamed to say so. After the gut-wrenching death of Sirius Black at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange, Harry chases her deeper into the Ministry of Magic building before hitting her with a Cruciatus curse. Harry then starts hearing Voldemort’s voice instructing him to kill Bellatrix.

The dark lord appears and Harry attempts to engage him but is disarmed. Dumbledore then appears via flume smoke and tells Voldemort that it was foolish for him to show up at the ministry. The single most badass wizard fight commences, with the two most powerful magic users duking it out.

This scene shows off the power of both combatants and why Dumbledore is the only person Voldemort ever feared. If he had not shown up, the Order of the Phoenix would have had to deal with Voldemort themselves, and they may not have showed up in time to save an unarmed Harry from certain death.
