Over at DC Studios, James Gunn is hard at work on a new Superman movie: Superman: Legacy will feature actor David Corenswet in the role of Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.
No has yet seen Corenswet, 30, don Superman’s iconic red-and-blue outfit. But fans are picking up the slack by creating art. That includes the artist subi.ozil, who has created a couple of images of what Corenswet could look like as the Man of Steel, including one of the actor in a modern modern super-suit and another of him wearing a more old-fashioned outfit.
Corenswet will probably be wearing a slightly modified version of the suit when we finally see it. Until then, may the artists keep imagining.

Meanwhile, in real life, photos of Corenswet floating around online appear to show that he’s bulking up for his role as the Man of Steel, as he would have to.
Superman: Legacy is due out in theaters on July 11, 2025. It’s going to be the first major movie of what James Gunn and Peter Safran hope is a rebooting DC Cinematic Universe. There’s also a Batman movie in the pipeline called The Brave and the Bold, although we don’t know yet who’s playing the Caped Crusader.
