Last month, we learned that Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and singer Joe Jonas were getting divorced after four years of marriage. At the time, the couple seemed to be presenting a united front, but things quickly turned acrimonious due to a dispute involving their two young daughters.
At issue was where the girls would live: Sophie Turner claimed that she and Jonas previously agreed that they would reside in England, and used a letter he had written while the two of them were trying to buy a house as evidence. Turner sued Jonas to make him follow through on this promise, and for a minute it looked like there might be a trial.
But it seems that things have calmed down. The couple agree to enter mediation and it sounds like it worked. “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK,” Jonas and Turner said in a joint statement sent to CNN. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”

CNN doesn’t mention if this means that Turner is dropping her suit, but I would assume that’s the case. Obviously, it’s great for the kids that she and Jonas were able to reach an accord.
At the moment, Jonas is touring with his group the Jonas Brothers. Turner, meanwhile, will soon play the title character in Joan, a British drama series about real-life diamond thief Joan Hannington.
