Invincible was one of the best new shows of 2021, an animated superhero drama that actually managed to be compelling despite there already being approximately 3 billion other superhero shows and movies vying for our attention. The second season is around the corner, and we finally have a trailer:

Invincible is based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, the guy behind The Walking Dead. He does good work, this Kirkman guy.

Invincible season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on November 3.

There’s a trailer party happening over at New York Comic Con. While we’re talking about animated series, Netflix dropped a teaser for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, a new show based on the original comic that inspired the 2010 hit Scott Pilgrim vs. the World:

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off includes most of the cast from the 2010 movie. It drops on Netflix on November 17.

Watch the trailer for Anthony Mackie’s sci-fi dramedy If You Were The Last

Next up, Peacock released a trailer for If You Were The Last, a movie about a pair of astronauts played by Anthony Mackie and Zoë Chao. They’re marooned in space and unsure if anybody is coming to rescue them. Should they spend what may be their final days sleeping together? They debate the question in what looks a movie that’s part sci-fi romp, part existential examination, and part romantic comedy:

If You Were the Last premieres on Peacock on October 20.

Archer three-episode series finale gets release date

Finally, we learned that Archer, FX’s long-running season about self-absorbed super-spy Sterling Archer (like, 14 seasons long-running) is coming to an end in December with a finale event called Archer: Into the Cold.

The three-episode finale will air on FX and FXX on December 17, and be available to watch on Hulu the next day. In the meantime, new episodes of the the final season are dropping on Wednedays.
