24 fantastic tattoos based on Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon

Dragons and swords are common subjects for tattoos, so it’s to the great advantage of tattoo enthusiasts that the Game of Thrones universe has plenty of them. Over the years, we’ve spotlighted tattoos based on Game of Thrones when we’ve had enough to share. Now that the prequel House of the Dragon is airing, we’re seeing lots of tattoos inspired by the new series.

In this post, we’ll take a tour through some of the coolest Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon tattoos out there on the internet, starting with tattoos that honor the highest and mightiest house Westeros has ever known: the Targaryens.

Game of Thrones only had three dragons to speak of: Daenerys Targaryen best boys Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion. They’re still popular subjects for tattoos, but House of the Dragon has introduced a whole new stable of fire-breathing flying reptiles. Caraxes, the long-necked dragon ridden by Daemon Targaryen, is an especially popular:
