Our Flag Means Death season 2 number of episodes

There are only eight episodes in the second season of Our Flag Means Death, which is airing now on Max. That means that the next episode to drop on Max, Episode 208, is the final episode of the season.

The first season of Our Flag Means Death, a queer-friendly pirate comedy-drama with romance in its heart, had 10 episodes, so fans aren’t getting as much this time around. Plus, Max has been dropping multiple episodes at once. The first three episodes of season 2 dropped on October 5, the next two on October 12, and the next two on October 19. The season 2 finale of Our Flag Means Death will drop on Thursday, October 26.

All of this adds up to a season that has felt very short, which is too bad for this show’s passionate fanbase. To make matters worse, we don’t know if Our Flag Means Death will be returning for a third season.

Max hasn’t said whether it will bring back Our Flag Means Death for a third season. If it does, season 3 will be the final season. According to ScreenRant, creator David Jenkins has said as much.

I think three seasons sounds about right. Hopefully we’ll eventually get to see how the love story between Stede Bonnet and Blackbeard ends. For now, we can enjoy the season 2 finale of Our Flag Means Death tomorrow.
