House of the Dragon: The Official Coloring Book is coming

Did you ever watch an episode of House of the Dragon, HBO’s new Game of Thrones prequel series, and think, “the dragon Caraxes is the wrong shade of fuchsia?” If you have, first of all, no judgment. And second of all, do I have a book for you: House of the Dragon: The Official Coloring Book.

Put out by Random House Worlds, House of the Dragon: The Official Coloring Book. It features 75 illustrations rendered on thick paper, so you can really go to town coloring Alicent Hightower’s iconic green dress canary yellow.

You can preorder House of the Dragon: The Official Coloring Book from several online retailers; the listing on Penguin Random House has a handy guide. The book is retailing for $18.99, coloring pencils and other implements sold separately.

House of the Dragon: The Official Coloring Book officially goes on sale on May 7, 2024, which is interesting. We know that the second season of House of the Dragon is premiering on HBO and Max sometime in the summer of 2024. The coloring book is probably scheduled to go on sale ahead of the season premiere, to help build up hype. I can feel us getting closet to an official release date.
