Game of Thrones fans, House of the Dragon stars step out for Halloween

Happy Halloween, everyone! Today is the day (or last weekend was the weekend, whichever) when everyone gets dressed in their scary Sunday best to celebrate all things ooky and spooky. Alternatively, you can dress up like Jon Snow. Plenty of Game of Thrones fans made that choice this year, and we support them.

We’ve gathered together a few Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon costumes donned by fans this holiday. Costumes are coming:

As I mentioned, Jon Snow was a popular choice, as ever. Let’s talk down the hall of Jons!

But it wasn’t all about people in the chilly north. This fan went as a gender-bent Khal Drogo:

There weren’t as many House of the Dragon costumes as Game of Thrones costumes — the prequel series still has a ways to go before it matches its progenitor in cultural cache — but at least two fans went as King Viserys I Targaryen and his daughter Rhaenyra:

And then there’s this fan, who seems to be dressing as…Daenerys Targaryen wearing a garbage bag and protesting her treatment in Game of Thrones season 8? Interpret this one as you will:

House of the Dragon stars Emily Carey and Bethany Antonia dress up for Halloween

Now for something slightly different: House of the Dragon stars Emily Carey (Young Alicent Hightower) and Bethany Antonia (Baela Targaryen) stepped out together for Halloween! Baela posted the shot on her Instagram along with several others, but we’ll just skip right to the one featuring Carey:

Is looks like Antonia is dressed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Carey is…it looks like Trinity from The Matrix? In any case, it looks like they had a happy Halloween!
