Superman & Lois is getting ready to film its fourth and final season, and with that has come some interesting changes on set. And no, I’m not just talking about the massive reduction of the cast, mandated by Warner Bros. Discovery as part of cost-cutting measures.

The Superman Homepage received confirmation from the Ladner Business Association, located in Vancouver, BC, that the famed Kent Farmhouse set has been demolished. This is a very interesting change, since it implies that Superman & Lois is leaving Smallville for the final season.

Superman & Lois makes a major change ahead of its final season

For the last three years, a farm on River Road West in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada, has hosted the Kent Farmhouse. However, as of very recently, that set is now gone.

Fans are wondering now what this means for the fourth and final season that is set to air sometime next year. Is the show moving away from Smallville? Is the Kent family just moving into a new humble abode? What is going to happen?

There is also the possibility that the Kent family decides they are done with Smallville and moves back to Metropolis. With Lex Luthor in the mix, I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case.

We will have to wait and see what Superman & Lois has in store for fans. While the show didn’t receive much critical acclaim over the last three years, the fact that it’s ending is important. It is the final Arrowverse left on The CW, marking the end of an era. It’s hard to believe that it will close out this memorable tradition of superhero shows on the network.

So while the show wasn’t the best ever to grace the small screen, it bows out shouldering a legacy that started many years ago, and for that, we will never forget Superman & Lois.

Look out for updates regarding the series in the coming months. It is set to premiere next year on The CW!
