The most brutal beatdowns on Invincible so far

War Woman

It seems repetitive to keep mentioning the Guardians of the Globe fight, but each character was defeated in such a uniquely grotesque way that I think they all deserve an entry. When it was only War Woman and the Immortal left in the fight, the pair are able to get a lot of good licks in on Omni-Man before he turns the tide.

At one point, Omni-Man manages to deprive War Woman — who is clearly supposed to be a take on Wonder Woman — of her mace. Without her mace, she has little defense against Omni-Man simply grabbing her head and twisting it 180 degrees, instantly killing her. War Woman’s lifeless body coughs up blood before collapsing on the ground.

Allen the Alien

Invincible introduces us to Allen in season 1. He’s a super-strong, affable, kinda goofy guy who makes up in heart what he lacks in attention to detail. We like Allen, which is why what happens to him in season 2 is so horrifying.

In the third episode of season 2, Allen returns home to the Coalition of Planets headquarters on the planet of Telescria and takes his girlfriend Telia on a dinner date in space. But the evening is ruined when Vidor, Lucan and Thula show up to interrogate Allen after seemingly being tipped off about his activities by the mole within the Coalition. Allen does not play ball and the Viltrumites quickly lose their patience.

Allen tries bait the Viltrumites into spilling who the mole is, but it doesn’t work. Instead he is brutally and literally torn apart. Lucan rips off his arm, his eye is punched out and Thula punches him so hard in the gut that his intestines are blasted out. It’s a rough fight for Allen and even rougher for Telia, who has to watch the whole thing in horror from the nearby space station.

Allen is left comatose, and we still don’t know if he makes it.
