The group is ruled by a set of regulations implemented years ago that were believed to be established for their own protection, but everyone has been living like this for so long that the original reasons have been lost. Silo has a 92% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been praised for its worldbuilding, thrilling story, and Rebecca Ferguson's incredible performance as engineer-turned-sheriff Juliette Nichols.
Below is a list of similarly themed shows that Silo fans can enjoy until the next season comes along.
Foundation
Another great AppleTV+ sci-fi series is Foundation. The series was created by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman and is based on the eight-novel series by one of history's greatest sci-fi writers, Isaac Asimov. The series features an ensemble cast that includes Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, and Leah Harvey.
Foundation chronicles the stories of a group of exiles who, after the fall of the Galactic Empire, are tasked with saving humanity and rebuilding society. The source material is vast, spanning centuries. Foundation has taken liberties and altered many elements of the books in a way that is respectful to the source. Overall, the first two seasons provides excellent storytelling for sci-fi fans as they follow the exiles who encounter dangerous situations, complicated relationships, and ever-shirting loyalties.
