Alexander Dreymon and Allison Williams started dating in 2019 after starring together in Horizon Line, where they played a couple traveling on a plane when the pilot has a fatal heart attack. Six years later, they are now officially married, which we know thanks in part to a slip of the tongue. Williams called Dreymon her "husband" in an off-hand way while talking to The Guardian, and a confirmation followed.
The two have long been pretty private. They had a child together in 2021, but the news didn't come out until the year after. And all that's fine, obviously; what am I, entitled to know everything these two strangers do? They can be as private as they like. And also, congratulations!
Williams got famous after starring on HBO's Girls throughout the 2010s. She's also a part of the M3GAN movies; the sequel to that one comes out tomorrow. As for Alexander Dreymon, he's best known for playing Uhtred, son of Uhtred, the hero of The Last Kingdom, a criminally under-watched historical fiction series that ran on Netflix from 2015-2022, all capped off with a movie in 2023.
Based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories, The Last Kingdom follows Uhtred through decades of his life. He starts as the son of a Saxon who is raised in a Danish community, which as an adult puts him in a good position to negotiate between the two long-warring groups. The show is set in the ninth and tenth centuries in England, which then was not united into one country. Uhtred, who becomes a warrior and then a leader of warriors, ends up playing a vital role in making that happen, although he never gets the credit. He also never seems to age even though he's in his 20s near the start of the series and is as old as 80 at the end. It's best not to think about it; just look at Alexander Dreymon and content yourself.
