Black Mirror, the sci-fi anthology series that brings the magic of The Twilight Zone to life for a new audience, returns to Netflix for its seventh season in the immediate future. All six episodes in the show's seventh season will drop at once on Thursday, April 10.

Generally speaking, Netflix drops new episodes at midnight on the west coast, which means they'll drop at 1:00 a.m. in the mountains, 2:00 a.m. in the central time zone, and 3:00 a.m. on the east coast. Wherever you live, you'll have access to all six episodes at once.

This is all pretty self-explanatory, but just in case you want it in chart form, here's when all of the new episodes drop?

  • Season 7, Episode 1: "Common People" — Thursday, April 10
  • Season 7, Episode 2: "Bête Noire" — Thursday, April 10
  • Season 7, Episode 3: "Hotel Reverie" — Thursday, April 10
  • Season 7, Episode 4: "Plaything" — Thursday, April 10
  • Season 7, Episode 5: "Eulogy" — Thursday, April 10
  • Season 7, Episode 6: "USS Callister: Into Infinity" — Thursday, April 10

Like usual, each new episode of Black Mirror will tell a self-contained story about some kind of eerie, mind-bending topic. In the last season, the show started playing with horror and fantasy elements. In season 7, it looks like it's getting back to its sci-fi roots, exploring the weird ways modern technology could can make our lives stranger.

Actually, there's one episode in this upcoming season that isn't self-contained, a first for the series. The sixth episode, "Uss Callister: Into Infinity," is a sequel to the season 4 episode "USS Callister," about a deranged tech employee who made digital copies of his coworkers and then forced them to play out his Star Trek-inspired fantasies in a simulation. That tech bro was dealt with at the end of the first episode, and his digital coworkers set off to explore the internet.

"USS Callister" was a great episode, and if Black Mirror wants to try making a sequel, I'm not it's using that as its foundation. We'll see how it goes very soon!
