We've come to the end of Fandom Madness! Sixty-four characters from the worlds of sci-fi and fantasy stepped into the ring at the beginning of this tournament. Five rounds later, only two remain: Moiraine from The Wheel of Time and Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings.

Who will win? That's up to you! Check out our final bracket and vote in the last poll below:

Gandalf, of course, is the stern, kindly wizard from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings books, played by Ian McKellen in Peter Jackson's movies. He comes to the Shire and sets Frodo and friends off on a quest that will change the fate of Middle-earth.

Funnily enough, Moiraine Damodred is somewhat inspired by Gandalf. She's also a wizard of sorts: an Aes Sedai sorceress who turns up in the sleepy Two Rivers region at the start of Robert Jordan's epic The Wheel of Time series. Like Gandalf, she also encounters a few country folk and sets them off on an epic quest, although Rand al'Thor and company take less kindly to Moiraine's guidance and Frodo and his friends take to Gandalf's.

You can see both of these characters on TV right now. Gandalf appears in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Prime Video, where he's played by Daniel Weyman. Meanwhile, Moiraine is at the center of Prime Video's The Wheel of Time TV show, where she's played by Rosamund Pike.

We have wizard vs wizard! The Lord of the Rings vs The Wheel of Time! One great fantasy series vs another! It's a battle that will ring down through the ages, and you're wielding the sword. Make your choice!

As usual, the criteria for voting is whatever you want it to be, for whatever reason you like. Voting will run for a day. After that, we will induct our new winner into the Fandom Madness hall of fame!
