Apple TV's breakout series Foundation is one of the best space sci-fi shows on television at the moment, and it's only getting better and better with each season. According to star Cassian Bilton, who plays Brother Daen, season 3 culminates in a finale that's "10 out of 10 television." We'll be the judge of that.
Based on the work of seminal sci-fi writer Isaac Asimov, Foundation is just about as ambitious as space opera shows can get. It's a real, in-depth space odyssey. With the show in its third season, the war between Empire and Foundation boils over. While the season 3 finale is still a few weeks away, Bilton is already hyping up some of the immense performances from his co-stars—specifically Terrence Mann (Brother Dusk), Laura Birn (Demerzel), and Lee Pace (Brother Day).
Expect big things from the Foundation season 3 finale

“Terry, Laura, and Lee have some moments in the season, in that episode,” Bilton told Collider in a recent interview. “I think that they’re just knocking it out of the park. It’s 10 out of 10 television.”
He continued to rhapsodise about the season finale, adding that, “I think that’s really some of the best stuff I’ve seen in the show,” he said.
Bilton isn't the only cast member to tease the upcoming finale, either. Terrence Mann (Brother Dusk) has also weighed in on the episode, as noted by Collider, saying, "things do come apart, would be the best way to describe it. Everything comes apart."
Jared Harris weighs in on Hari Seldon's decision in episode 2
In the latest episode of Foundation, Hari Seldon and Gaal's relationship reaches another key turning point, as they move beyond the teacher-student dynamic that they've shared from the start. According to Jared Harris, this plot point was always part of the plan.
"There wasn't a discussion [about Hari seemingly dying again]," Harris told Tech Radar in a recent interview. "I felt like they [Foundation's writing team] didn't know what to do with Hari and Gaal's relationship and it was becoming a tired, regurgitation of similar things from past seasons."

He continued: "Personally, I wanted to see that relationship move on. One of the changes made to that episode was that it [Hari walking away] was a decision that he and Gaal made together, rather than one he made in secret that would blindside her."
"It's important that Hari moves on from this, and Gaal discovers her own agency and isn't held back by anyone else," Harris concluded.

AppleTV+ is smashing it out of the park in the streaming game at the moment. Between Foundation, Severance, Silo, and others, the app is becoming one of the best destinations for sci-fi and fantasy television. Long may it continue!
