It seems one Game of Thrones star is about to trade the world of Westeros for the Scottish Highlands! BBC has announced the cast for The Celebrity Traitors season 2, which features some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including a former Game of Thrones star!Â
Among the slew of new celebrities heading to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands to compete in the second season of the highest-rated show on British TV last year is none other than Bella Ramsey, who rose to fame playing Lyanna Mormont from seasons 6-8 on Game of Thrones.Â
Ramsey is quite a get for The Celebrity Traitors, as they’ve been keeping quite busy since Game of Thrones ended, most notably leading the cast of HBO’s Emmy-winning video game adaptation The Last of Us. While Ramsey has appeared in dozens of films, shows, and shorts over the years, they’ve never done a reality competition series before, and it’s going to be interesting to see how they fare among the rest of the cast, which includes another star who is quite familiar to fantasy genre fans.Â
Competing alongside Ramsey in the case will be actor Michael Sheen from Good Omens and the Twilight films. Sheen is yet another A-list-level addition to the season 2 cast set to compete in season 2.Â
It’s certainly going to be fun for fans to see how Ramsey and Sheen perform on the show and if either will be tapped to play a traitor in the game. Both Ramsey and Sheen would certainly make for fun traitors on the show, and we’d love to see them up in the turret determining which of their fellow players to murder!Â
Of course, it would be just as equally fun to see Ramsey and Sheen play the game as a faithful and to see if they could outwit and outlast -- sorry wrong competition show -- their competition to find the traitors and banish them from the game. Also joining the cast are a slew of amazing actors, iconic comedians, a few singers, and even a mathematician!

Claudia Winkleman will return to host season 2, which will begin filming soon with the BBC eyeing a fall premiere for The Celebrity Traitors season 2. While a premiere date has yet to be announced, it seems likely season 2 will release sometime in October with new episodes dropping in batches over the course of several weeks.
Fans in the US, meanwhile, will likely have to wait until November for the new season to arrive on Peacock, which tends to release the latest season of the UK iterations of The Traitors after the seasons wrap on BBC.
