The Dance of the Dragons civil war continues to set the realm ablaze in House of the Dragon. As rival branches of House Targaryen destroy their dynasty over a dispute about who should sit the Iron Throne, their actions ripple outward through history, reshaping the Seven Kingdoms into the fantasy world we know from Game of Thrones. The show is currently in the thick of airing its third season, and it's been bloodier, more brutal, and more thrilling than ever as dragons clash in the skies, armadas fill the seas with corpses, and war rages through iconic locations like the Riverlands and the Reach.

Even more than its predecessor series, House of the Dragon is a slow burn that took its time to acquaint us with the messy history of the generations of Targaryens who have a role to play in the Dance. In season 1, that meant time jumps that saw multiple characters recast. In season 2, it means the fits and starts to the war as casualties mount and the point of no return nears.

With a show as sprawling as House of the Dragon, there are always more details and secrets to find. That's why we've compiled an extensive watch guide to help you get the most out of your rewatch as you immerse yourself in Westeros for the show's third season. You can find our review and page-to-screen breakdown hub for season 1 here. As for season 2, you have only to scroll down and find the episode that fits your evening. Bookmark this companion guide and take it along as you relive the infamous Blood and Cheese incident, the jaw-dropping Battle at Rook's Rest, the terror of the Red Sowing and more.
