The long wait is over, and now the shadow is rising. This week Amazon premiered the third season of The Wheel of Time, it's epic fantasy show based on the iconic book series by Robert Jordan. The Wheel of Time is a tale of good vs evil on the grandest scale, as Rand alThor (Josha Stradowski), a reincarnated hero known as the Dragon Reborn, must gather his allies to try resist the forces of darkness. In the end, he'll either succeed and save the world — or break it.

Now that the show has premiered, we can lay out the overall trajectory for the season. If you're wondering how many episodes are in The Wheel of Time season 3, you're in the right place.

Wheel of Time season 3 Episode 4 release date and time

As you can see from the schedule, new episodes release on Thursdays. But when on Thursdays? The Wheel of Time premieres episodes at 12 am Pacific Time. So you can use that to figure out whatever time it drops for whatever timezone you're in.

This means that The Wheel of Time season 3 Episode 4, "The Road to the Spear," will drop on Thursday March 20th at 12am Pacific Time. If you're on the East Coast, that's 3 am, etcetera.

That episode will be a big one. Before the season, we had the opportunity to interview Rosamund Pike (Moiraine) and Josha Stradowski, who confirmed that Episode 304 will depict Rand's trials in Rhuidean, a key part of the novel The Shadow Rising. We won't have to wait long to see it!
