The season 3 finale of The Wheel of Time, "He Who Comes With The Dawn," aired a couple of Thursdays back, on April 17. We're all waiting to hear if Amazon and Sony will renew the show more seasons; The Wheel of Time is based on a massive series of fantasy novels, and the cast and crew will need a lot of time to tell the full story. Amazon and Sony are taking a frustratingly long time to announce anything, so we're looking for any bits of good news to tide us over while we wait.

Here's one now: According to Flix Patrol, as of today, The Wheel of Time remains the most popular show on Prime Video even now, almost two weeks after the season 3 finale aired. Flix Patrol is a site that synthesizes streaming data from around the world; it's not 100% official data, which only Amazon can release, and only if it wants to. But it will do for us, for now.

Anyway, The Wheel of Time currently outranks other popular Amazon shows like Reacher and Invincible. Flix Patrol also breaks this all down by country, where we can see that The Wheel of Time remains the number one most watched show in several nations around the world; I note that it's done consistently well in India and Brazil, which are respectively the first and fourth most populated countries on Earth. That's gotta be good.

In addition to enduringly solid viewership, the third season of The Wheel of Time has been showered with praise from critics and fans alike; it's easily the best-reviewed season of the show so far. So it's if been such a success, why haven't Amazon and Sony renewed it yet? Hopefully they're just working out the details, because this show deserves to continue. We'll keep you posted.
