Pedro Pascal is one of the biggest actors in the world, known for roles in stuff like Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, The Last of Us and soon The Fantastic Four: First Steps, not to mention Wonder Woman 1984 and Narcos and I have to stop or we'd be here all day. He's a public figure, and like all public figures, a lot of people are interested in his personal life, with lots of gossip and speculation about who he is or isn't dating.

No one seems able to pin anything down, and Pascal himself doesn't talk about his romantic life very often. Speaking to Vanity Fair, he explained a bit about why. “I always feel perplexed when I’m identified in whatever form of media as a ‘highly private person,’ because that’s the opposite of me,” he said. “I’m very unprivate in my private life. I just know that personal relationships are such a complex thing to navigate even without having this enormous lens on them.”

Pascal also mulled the idea of having children. It's not something he's eager to do, but he does have one fantasy: “I’ve had dreams of taking my kids to the movies the way my parents took me. So I guess I want a shortcut to an interesting human being who is my child who will go see something that I want to see.” Yeah, but what if all they want to do is see the Minecraft movie over and over again?

At 50, it's not impossible for Pascal to have kids; he's got money, they'll be okay. But if he's not interested, obviously that's also fine. He's got plenty to occupy his time. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Pascal is one of the busiest and highest profile actors in the world. Ever since he broke out as Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones, he's been workin non-stop. He plays the title role in The Mandalorian, the first-ever live-action Star Wars show. He played Joel in The Last of Us, one of HBO's biggest hits. And next month, he'll play Mister Fantastic in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the buzziest Marvel movie to come out in a long time. The man is booked up to his neck in high-profile jobs, and I don't think who he is or isn't dating has much bearing on it.
